Our story
Meet Timothy, a passionate bird lover and Aviculturist who started Raw for Birds with a simple goal - to improve the health and well-being of his beloved feathered friends. He noticed that his birds could be in better health and produce healthier offspring, so he set out on a journey to find a solution.
Timothy started researching what other bird owners were feeding their birds, looking beyond his own country to places like the USA, UK, and the Middle East where nutrition was a top priority for breeders and keepers. He discovered that many were shifting towards more natural and raw foods, and this piqued his interest.
He began experimenting with different recipes, blending and making unique types of chops. With each new recipe, he saw a significant improvement in the health and vitality of his birds, and the results were undeniable. They were getting healthier, producing bigger and healthier babies, and he knew he was onto something special.
In 2020, Timothy shared one of his recipes with Queenslander Aviaries Bird Store, and it quickly gained popularity. The positive feedback was overwhelming, and he knew he had to share his passion for raw food with other bird lovers. And that's how Raw for Birds was born.
