Aketi's Forage Treat

Fifteen of Aketi’s favourite Nuts, Fruits, Flowers and Seeds are hand blended to create his favourite foraging treat, and now your bird can enjoy it too!

Aketi is an African-grey Parrot owned by staff member Timothy. Aketi loves to forage and work for his treats, and Timothy has kept this treat blend secret until now!

Includes whole-size sticks of Cinnamon as well as Star Anise and Almonds in the shell. See all the ingredients below.

Suitable for Sun Conures, Ringnecks, Alexandrines, Eclectus, Caiques, Amazons, African greys, Macaws, Cockatoos and Galahs.

Please note current batch has Organic Cranberries instead of Orange.

How to use

Offer to your bird as is (1 tablespoon every 2-3 days) Shake the bag well first as some settling may occur.

Mix into blad seed blends - 2 tablespoons per kilo.

Use in foraging toys and trays.

Sprinkle over fresh chop for extra crunch.

Take note of your bird’s daily energy needs when feeding nuts. Birds that are not very active or have weight issues should be given nuts sparingly.
